Mouse Pad Materials Guide

There are four basic types of mouse pads — fabric surface, hard surface, window, and note paper. Fabric pads, such as our Origin'L Fabric® and SoftTouch® have a soft polyester surface. Hard surface pads like our Vynex®, ReTreads™, BarelyThere™, and Peel&Place® pads have a textured polymer surface. Window/Photo pads offer the same sturdy construction as hard surface pads, with the addition of a window for inserting personal items such as photos. Note paper mouse pads are built with sheets of note paper that are coated with a patented mousing texture.

HARD SURFACE/WINDOW

SURFACE:
Vynex® surface provides a durable and economical textured matte finish.

HARD SURFACE BASE:
Heavy Duty Rubber is a durable natural open cell rubber base material and our most popular option. (1/16", 1/8", & 3/16")

ReTreads™ Recycled Rubber is made from 100% post-consumer recycled material. (3/32")

Medium Duty Base is an economical closed cell latex-free natural rubber base material that is up to 55% lighter than our standard Heavy Duty Rubber base. (1/16" & 1/8")

Barely There™ is an economical thin, lightweight, non-slip base material – great for promotional mailings or inserts. (.020")

Peel&Place® uses our special removable & repositionable lo-tac adhesive to keep your promotion in its place. (.015")
